David J. Poirier—General Manager
Mr. David Poirier was appointed General Manager of SAVA Workforce Solutions in October 2008. Dave manages all aspects of SAVA’s business, including sales, technology development, and client delivery. Before joining SAVA, he served as Vice President for TKC Communications for three years, growing its annual revenue to over $186 million. Prior to holding that post, he served as a career military officer, retiring from the United States Army in 2005. During his service, Mr. Poirier held key leadership positions, including Commander of TASK FORCE GAUNTLET in Iraq, where his unit led the investigation to find Saddam Hussein from 2003-2004. Poirier also served in numerous leadership/command roles within the Army’s Criminal Investigation Command. His military career included duty assignments in multiple U.S. and foreign locations. He received a B.S. from St. Lawrence University, Canton, NY and a M.S. from Chaminade University, Honolulu, Hawaii.
Chris Jenkins—Director of Operations
Chris has over 15 years of government and civilian leadership experience. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) who currently manages all of SAVA’s contract delivery and has served as Capture Manager on over $350 million in contract awards. Prior to his current position, he served 13 years in the United States Army in a myriad of law enforcement roles including: Military Police, Field Forensic Computer Examiner, Special Agent, Operations, and Special Agent-in-Charge. His military career included duty assignments in Virginia, New Jersey, Hawaii, Central America and Europe. Chris achieved the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 3 before deciding to work for the QIVLIQ family of companies. Chris has earned his MBA and Bachelor of Science degrees.
Michael Donovan—Director of Business Development
Michael has over 22 years of experience managing technology, operations and sales strategies in the private sector, government and technology services industry. Michael holds numerous certifications from Microsoft and CompTIA. Prior to coming to SAVA, Michael managed Business Development and served as a diplomat to the country of Botswana. He also led an international sales team for a major CRM company and served in numerous roles in the Information Technology field. Michael began his career in the US Army where he served with the Military Police and Criminal Investigation Division, focusing on intelligence and narcotics. He has received degrees in Psychology and Business Administration.
Jim McVeigh—Program Manager
Jim has over 29 years of government and civilian leadership experience. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) who currently manages a 175 million dollar contract with over 160 positions for a Federal Agency. Prior to his current position, Jim served 26 years in the United States Army in a myriad of law enforcement roles including: Military Police Investigator, Special Agent, Protective Services Officer and as an Instructor/Technical Writer. His military career culminated with his 6 year assignment as a Brigade-Level Command Sergeant Major with the United States Army Criminal Investigation Command which included a combat tour during Operation Iraqi Freedom for which he was awarded the Bronze Star. Jim is a 2008 recipient of the QIVLIQ Pinnacle Award for Excellence. Jim is a graduate of Central Texas College (AA) and Excelsior College (BS) (Magna Cum Laude) in Liberal Arts.
