SAVA awarded FBI Terrorist Screening Center (TSC) contract
SAVA Workforce Solutions, LLC, a leading provider of enterprise IT and mission support systems for the defense, law enforcement and intelligence community announced that it has been selected to provide IT, security and help desk services for the FBI Terrorist Screening Center’s 24x7x365 operations center.
The Terrorist Screening Center (TSC) maintains the FBI’s consolidated Terrorist Watchlist—a single database of identifying information about those known or suspected of being involved in terrorist activity. By supporting the ability of front-line screening agencies to positively identify known or suspected terrorists trying to obtain visas, enter the United States, board aircraft or engage in other activity, the consolidated Terrorist Watchlist is one of the most effective counterterrorism tools of the U.S. government.
Under this enterprise IT and operations contract, SAVA will maintain the TSC’s datacenter, ensuring secure connectivity and access to data. SAVA will also be responsible for all aspects of physical and logical security—including personnel, information and communications. SAVA will also provide systems engineering to support TSC initiatives associated with HSPD-6, HSPD-11, Secure Flight and 9/11 Commission recommendations. SAVA’s duties will include training and end-user technical and operational support.
