Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
Computer Forensics Lab
Mission: To enforce the controlled substances laws and regulations of the United States and bring to the criminal and civil justice system those organizations involved in the growing, manufacture or distribution of controlled substances; and to recommend and support non-enforcement programs aimed at reducing the availability of illicit controlled substances on the domestic and international markets.
Challenge: Provide an experienced staff consisting of cleared computer Forensic Examiners, Administrative Personnel and an Enterprise Architect / Network Engineer.
Solution: SAVA provided a team of subject matter experts to conduct digital forensic examinations on seized hard drives. SAVA created a SAN environment to streamline DEA Lab operations and staffed the DEA Lab with cleared, experienced personnel. Specifically, SAVA was responsible for:
