SAVA awarded DEA FIREBIRD IT Support contract
SAVA Workforce Solutions, a leading provider of enterprise IT and mission support systems for the defense, law enforcement and intelligence community announced that it has been selected to provide network operations, server management, help desk and technical assistance for field support personnel.
Under this enterprise IT contract, SAVA will provide centralized management and support for the Firebird Enterprise, which consists of approximately 530 sites worldwide and supports over 16,000 users. Primarily a Windows-based, client-server architecture, Firebird consists of 15,000 Windows XP clients and over 600 Windows servers. Firebird is managed from the Network Operations Center (NOC) located at the Sterling Park Technology Center (SPTC) in Loudon County, VA. SAVA will also maintain the DEA NOC at the DEA Headquarters in Arlington, VA.
