Logistics Management and Tracking

Mission: To Provide vital public engineering services in peace and war to strengthen our Nation’s security, energize the economy, and reduce risks from disasters.

Challenge: Develop, staff and support a country-wide logistical tracking and communication service in Iraq.

Solution: SAVA developed a real-time, in-transit tracking system to monitor USACE fleet movements and equipment locations by deploying GIS technologies and a custom web-based interface. Specifically, SAVA was responsible for:

Results: SAVA greatly reduced equipment loss while increasing security, reliability and resource management oversight. By implementing an in-theater Logistics Operations Center supported by a U.S.-based COOP site, SAVA was able to ensure 24/7 reliability.
